Christmas Market Magic In Brussels!

Hey there, it's been quite a while since my last post because of the Christmas festivities! This month has been so busy and absolutely flown over, the highlight being me and a group of friends flew out to Brussels, Belgium on a last minute Winter trip! I took about a million photos but thought I'd share a few with you of the Christmas Markets, which were the main attraction of the city break. We had the the most amazing time, I ate my weight in chocolate topped waffles, forced my boyfriend onto a ferris wheel, bought mulled wine purely to warm my hands up and of course, had a few laps around the ice rink! Honestly, if you love all things Christmas then you will fall in love with Brussels this time off year... but don't forget to wrap up as it's freezing!! If you're interested in visiting Brussels I have a travel guide coming soon which I hope you will find useful, including where I stayed and the best places to go suggested by the locals.

I'd love to know which Christmas Markets you visited this year?

Travel Friendly Skincare | NSPA Beauty Rituals Box Product Praise

Hello and welcome to Blogmas Day 7! Today's post is a review/ praise of the NSPA Beauty Rituals Skincare Gift Set that I thought fits in well with Blogmas as it's a great affordable gift and it's been a while since I've talked about anything beauty related. A long time ago I purchased this small gift set from ASDA while I was supposed to be doing a food shop (no surprise there!) and completely forgot about it at the back of my cupboard! It was only when I was out of Liz Earle Cleanse & Polish and searching for a make up remover that I remembered about the Hot Cloth Polish from the NSPA Skincare Box and it saved the day! This worked so well that it got me interested in testing out all the products and I'm really impressed, so much that I am taking the 4 step regime to Brussels next week, as they are the perfect size for travelling!

Each product is 50ml and is supposed to be a key step in providing a spa like facial at home and I'm very happy to say it is not tested on animals, as well as packed with moisturising Ginseng, Vitamin E and Grapeseed oil for radiant skin. The first step is the Melting Cleansing Gel which is a lovely gel like formula that goes milky as you lather it in. It is a really nice, gentle cleanser that can be used to melt away make up or just work as a face wash. The second step is exfoliation using the Hot Cloth Polish with a muslin cloth to buff away dead skin but I mainly use this to further remove my makeup and it is very gentle on the eyes. It's a lovely option for travel because of its size but won't replace my Cleanse & Polish in every day life because my skin loves that stuff! The third step is something that I've really been missing in my skincare routine and hadn't even realised it... the Radiant Flash Serum gives my skin a glow that the cold weather has been taking away! I haven't used it for long enough to see more permanent results but I am liking it so far. The final step is to moisturise with the Brightening Day Cream which I really like as it's not too heavy, so makes a great base under make up and for a few days it won't hurt to double it up as my overnight moisturiser, as I don't suffer from dry skin. Because of this I'm not very picky with moisturiser and I tend to try new ones every time and I'm still looking out for the perfect one s please let me know your recommendations.

All the products are available in full size so I think I will be picking up the full size of the melting cleansing gel!

Available at ASDA now for £8.00!

Let me know if you've ever used Nspa products or your favourite skincare to travel with!

Autumn Hues

Frosty mornings are upon us but the Autumn colours are hanging in tight, with fresh green grass and golden leaves it is officially my favourite time of the year! Today I wore this statement Camel Coat from New Look that I actually bought last year however I have linked some great options that are available this winter. It's a great stylish piece that will hopefully last me a really long time and it is perfect for this kind of weather. I've paired it with a cream jumper from Primark, Topshop ripped jeans and my favourite new purchase... Sock Boots! This pair in particular are from In The Style and they are amazing quality for the price and look great with almost every outfit! If you're looking for a pair I've seen some lovely choices for Public Desire and Missguided
