Get Your Brow Game Strong! | Anastasia Beverly Hills Worth The Hype?

There's been quite a buzz around Anastasia Beverly Hills products for quite some time now as it quickly became talked about by the biggest beauty bloggers and youtubers. The issue with this is there's been multiple times now I've bought a product because of the hype and ended up questioning was it really worth it, because as soon as the next hyped up palette or whatever comes out, the old ones are forgotten. That, I suppose is life. It's all about whats trending right now, so I love it when people talk about products they still love even after its mainstream popularity (and heavy marketing) has ended. The reason I ended up purchasing these brow products was because of just that, Desi Perkins still always goes back to these products in her tutorials and I really do trust what she believes in because her recommendations always match my preferences. At first it was harder to get ABH in the UK but now theree's a few options which is great! I got mine from Cult Beauty where the process was quick and easy.

The two products I picked up were the Brow Wizz, a very skinny small brow pencil to mimic tiny brow hairs and the Dipbrow Pomade, both in the shape Soft Brown. I am yet to try the ABH Brush as I love the H&M. Its such a good brush and works really well with the consistency of ant brow product I've tried! Sadly the last time I checked their website they no longer had that brush online, I'm hoping its just because its out of stock and that they haven't discontinued it because of their newer premium quality brush collection.

So were they worth the hype?

In a nutshell I'm really glad I know have these products in my collection! They are both really good consistency for brow definition and you can control how much product is used to effect harshness/intensity, so they can be used to create any style of brow. I tend to use the pomade for the tail of the brow then lightly blend it into the rest. Sometimes I just use the brow wiz pencil to fill them in if I want a quick and soft brow. The biggest positive I've noticed is these brows do not budge or fade! I also use the H&M brow gel to set them which again is a great hughstreet beauty product I'd highly recommend fro H&M Beauty range. Because of this I don't feel the need to buy the ABH Brow gel.
It's important to know that this Soft Brown shade is quite a cool toned brown so if you like warmer tones then you won't be satisfied with this colour. Although saying that, I love slightly warmer toned brows because of my hair colour but can still wear this shade fine!

There we have it, if you're looking for some new brow products to get that brow game strong, ABH is definitely worth the hype!

  1. Sounds like a great purchase, I'm yet to try ABH. H&M's range sounds promising, I'll have to try my local store. x

  2. I love the ABH dip brow and mainly because it has lasted me so long. I haven't really tried any other brow pomade kinda products so I'll definitely be sticking to this one for a while :)
