The Quick & Easy 2 Step Deep Cleanse.

About once a week I like to give my skin a good deep cleanse, sometimes if my skin is acting up I may give this a miss to avoid too much irritation/damage but if my pores are feeling clogged I will make sure I give it a thorough cleanse to release the badness. My skin is quite resilient but I have always suffered with spots, like most people have. Over the years I've got to know my skin very well and know what products work- sometimes it is better to keep it simple! My 3 trusted products for a thorough cleanse are the Liz Earle Cleanse & Polish (this has been in my skincare routine since it made a big splash in the blogging world years ago) to remove make up and/or a first gentle cleanse with my hands. Then I get out my Magnitone Facial Cleansing Brush, which now looks a bit worse for wear and I'm desperate for a new head, to use along with Simple Clear Skin Oil Balancing Exfoliating Wash. Another I would recommend is Nivea Daily Essential Facial Scrub, as both are great budget exfoliators for constant repurchase! Because frankly I'm quite lazy, I like to do this whole process in the shower so it's a good thing they made this thing waterproof! I've never used a Clarisonic or more expensive facial brush but I have no reason to because this one does everything I need it too. I can understand how these don't work for some people however, because they're a lot harsher than using hands or a cloth, so if you have sensitive skin don't waste your money. For me though, this routine works perfectly for me, its quick, easy and effective at cleansing my pores deeper than anything else I've ever used. Afterward just remember to apply toner/ serum/ moisturiser to your freshly clean pores.
