3 Miracle Hair Oils that REALLY work.

Having long ombre blonde hair is a challenge, especially when it’s not natural so I'm always conscious keeping it in good condition. You can check out my post on ‘how to grow your hair longer, faster’ if you’re struggling in the length department but today is a little run down of the 3 OG oils that impressively continue to resurrect my heat damaged hair.

MoroccanOil Treatment
I first used Moroccan Treatment Oil [£31.85] about 3 years ago after being recommended by my hairdresser, after expressing how desperately I wanted my hair to grow. Since then, it has been an essential in my haircare routine which I have repurchased countless times! I tend to focus the product on the ends of my hair, to target split ends, before blow drying which leaves my hair feeling so healthy, soft and manageable, with no oily residue. The oil claims to significantly speed up drying time but I’m not really a reliable source to confirm this, as I have thin and fast drying hair anyway. However, everything else they claim this treatment does, I agree with. I have definitely seen a noticeable change in the strength and length of my hair over time and it looks so much healthier and hydrated.

Coconut Oil
Biona Organic Virgin Coconut Oil [£11.49] is probably the one item I always have in my drawer, it doesn’t particularly matter which brand (preferably organic though) and there’s so many reasons why. Perhaps I will write an article in the future about the many benefits and uses of Coconut Oil but for now I’ll just focus on hair. I use this oil as an intensive hair mask and actually prefer it over more expensive hair masks because you get the same result for cheaper. [Superdrug £2.49] I cover my hair from root to end in the oil, leaving it on through the night, before washing my hair in morning. This oil is proven to stimulate hair growth, getting deep into the follicles, adds shine and softness, as well as fighting against scalp problems, such as dandruff.

Mythic Oil
The L'Oreal Professional Mythic Oil [16.49] is a new addition to the hair favourites. This ones more of a love not a need. I could get away with just using the Moroccan and Coconut oil, but I think this one still deserves a bit of the spotlight because it is a very good hair oil. In short, it is lovely and nourishing, hydrating and very effective at keeping frizz to a minimum. Infused with vitamin-rich avocado oil and antioxidant grape seed oils, this oil feels very luxurious and I urge you to try it if you are on the look out for great hair oil, but don't want to spend £30 on it!

So there we have it... my top 3 hair oils that have genuinely benefited my hairs quality and hopefully will work for you to! Let me know what your favourite hair oil is and why you love it...
