Soleil Tan De CHANEL

This happens to be the first item of Chanel make up that I have ever owned, I actually received this a Christmas gift off my mam and accidentally left it at home. When I finally picked it up a few weeks back I was really excited to start using it. I've read a lot of mixed reviews on this product over the years but always knew in the back of my mind I wanted to try it for myself. To begin with, the packaging is sleek and looks expensive, its a rather large size for a bronzer (I wouldn't recommend it for travelling- its not really make-up bag friendly) but you definitely get plenty of product to make it worth the cash. I can understand why some are not a fan.. I find the colour only suits me when I've got a bit of colour in my skin, at my palest this looks far too orange and fake. It also takes a bit of getting used to but after trying out different ways to apply it I feel like I've mastered it! Soleil Tan De Chanel is described as a bronzing make up base as it can be used foundation as well, I suppose like a pigmented primer but I just tend to use it as a normal bronzer. I use the Real Techniques Buffing brush to buff it gently around my face to create a lovely glow, I never use this as a contour as it is too warm so just wouldn't work as a shadow. For a lovely healthy finish (more on the sexy side) I don't powder my cheeks and it lasts impressively well throughout the day! If I really need it to stay on for a day/ night where I'm wearing a full face of make up  I will powder bronzer over it which lasts even better.

As you can see, the texture of Soleil Tan De Chanel is different to any other bronzers you may own. It is described as a cream-gel bronzer but to me it strongly resembles melted down velvety milk chocolate that has been whipped and started to harden ever so slightly. Because of this it blends like a dream! The finish is what I can only describe as a satin matte finish, which makes the complexion warm and glowing which lets face it, who doesn't want to look naturally bronzed? I do think this is worth the money because of how long it will last, even with everyday use. If you are very fair or darker skin tone this may not be suitable for you but I highly recommend this product to you if you have fair to medium skin tone!

Hello Spring!

It feels to me like this year, there has been no gradual change of the seasons and I feel like one morning this week without realising it, it all just changed. Pops of colour have appeared everywhere and the nights feeling much longer and lighter and I love it! My favourite thing about Spring time has to be the flowers. They're also one of my favourite things to photograph so I went a bit snap happy at the garden centre yesterday. One thing for sure is it's got me very excited for Summer!

Ibiza Days

Last summer I visited Ibiza and there's nothing more than a rainy UK day to make me miss the island. I wasn't there for long so I am desperate to go back! You might only know Ibiza for its amazing party lifestyle reputation and don't get me wrong the clubs are on another level to anything in England, but I highly recommend Ibiza to those of you that aren't into getting wasted. Why? Because the island is truly beautiful and there is plenty to do. For one, the beaches are amazing, you can go on boat trips, spend the day at Ocean Beach sipping cocktails and you NEED to see the sunset from Cafe Mambo. I really recommend The Skinny Kitchen if you want to be healthy, otherwise you can pick up lovely melon and other fruits from the markets or stores to keep you hydrated while you're soaking up the sun!

Tropical Vibes - My Travel Wishlist

Travelling is one of my favourite things to do. Each new place I see inspires me to see more of the amazing planet we live on, and if money were no object I would check every place off my list in a few years (like most people would). I'm always looking for the most amazing places but more importantly the best deals! Me and my boyfriend have been scrolling through countless holiday websites today searching for the right one. We both turn 21 this year and it would be lovely to go on some adventures that we will never forget.
I thought it would be to share the 'places I would love to visit' list and it would be a good way to get to know new people in the blogging community and find out your favourite places you've been, or want to go. This was going to turn into a very long list so Ive decided to just name main places/ countries instead of individual places, some of which I have been to but would like to see more of the country. I think it will be nice to look back in a few years and hopefully I'll have a few of these places ticked off!
